the forum could not be moderated. i heard that there was a section of crowd which would tolerate no dissent.

the sign of a civilized society, is to hear dissent out, and respond with arguements.

i don't think you want to hear the tamil fluency of thamizhacchi thangapandian and folks of her ilk.

yes, we have dissent in karuthu. passionate ones too.

thank God we have our moderator, to keep us reined to an acceptable level.

i think only two members i know, i have quit karuthu, due to what they considered overbearing interference by the admin - arramiah & pravaahan.

overall, we should thank admin for a job well done. not easy. but they do it, at odd hours, and i think, gratis. :)

what i heard was that the last karuthu meeting was an embarassment to the organizers.

i think it was convened to discuss reservations and quotas.

there was overwhelming support for the same among the speakers. one or two of the public and maybe one speaker spoke against it.

it soon ended up in word calling, and degenerated to green tamil curses of the brahmins.

i don't think the organizers want to go through this again :) :)

after all, there is viduthalai and many other web sites devoted to such sports !!
